At Kids First Immediate Care, we believe in practicing Evidence-Based Medicine.  We also utilize the Clinical Practice Guidelines as an important resource for guiding medical care.  We try to follow the Preventative Health Care Guidelines.  We believe in supporting the American Academy of Pediatrics' medical home concept.  We are not a replacement for your primary care physician and will refer the patient back to the primary care physician for follow-up assessment and treatment.

We pledge to work in collaboration with your primary care physician.  We use the latest technology such as an electronic medical records (EMR), Digital X-Rays, rapid lab testing and the latest in diagnostic equipment.  After your visit to Kids First Immediate Care, your records will be sent directly to your doctor’s office.  We encourage our patients to follow-up with their own physician after leaving the Pediatric Urgent Care.  We also recommend that patients see their assigned physician for routine well-child exams.

Kids First Immediate Care is an electronic office.  Our x-rays are digital and can be taken with you or be read by a radiologist within 24 hours.  We have a professional billing service, to ensure timely insurance filing and reimbursement.  Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable and efficient as possible.  We understand that you would rather be anywhere, but in the doctors office.  We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics' Recommendations for Free-Standing Urgent Care Facilities and the Urgent Care Association of America's Urgent Care Guidelines.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help improve your experience.
